PhotoSF is a production studio that creatively addresses complex issues with compelling storytelling.

Our mission is to impact how people think, work, and act.

We do this for commercial clients, for ourselves and for you.

Heather Kessinger

Director/Producer(sometimes editor, photographer and travel agent)

After reading Jaimal’s AFAR Magazine story about Nasima and surfing in Bangladesh she knew this would be her next film The Most Fearless. Nasima’s story is compelling whether she is striving to be a surf star in Australia, San Diego or Nicaragua – but exceptional that she is doing this in her home country of Bangladesh – where women don’t even swim in public.

An award winning doc filmmaker, ‘In the Shadow of Buddha’ is her most recent film. It has had a successful festival run, winning multiple awards including ‘Best Documentary’ at the Religion Today Festival screeing in six cities in Italy and culminating at the Vatican City.

Heather is proud to be on the board of the new US based non-profit The Bangladesh Surf Girls and Boys club. The sole purpose of this non-profit is to support the amazing kids who are surfing and studying on the beach in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

Jordan Dozzi

Director of Photography (sometimes editor, producer and surf instructor)

A critical part of nearly every PhotoSF endeavor, Jordan is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the realms of social justice, environment, and critical engagement. His photography has been exhibited internationally and his multimedia work was featured at the Yerba Buena Center for The Arts. As a San Francisco Art Institute Photography graduate he has won the Paul Sack Photography Award.

Jaimal Yogis

Writer/Producer (sometimes Photographer, agent and sage)

Yogis is the author of the original AFAR Magazine story that introduced Nasima to the world. He is also the author of the best-selling surf memoir, Saltwater Buddha – to be released as a major motion picture in 2013 – and the psycholgy/outdoor adventure book, The Fear Project, published by Rodale Books.   Yogis is also a team rider for Surf for Life, an organization that assembles volunteer surfers for education projects in poverty stricken, coastal zones. He is excited to put all his energy into making The Most Fearless the world-changing film it can be.
